Trenton C. Wienke

Trenton C. Wienke, 39, of Elsie, Nebraska, passed away Thursday evening, July 31, 2025, in Keith County, Nebraska.

Trenton was born on August 15, 1985, in Crete, Nebraska, to Rick and Sherrie (Romans) Wienke. He grew up in Arnold, Nebraska, and graduated from Arnold High School with the class of 2005.

Trenton built a career in agricultural equipment maintenance, specializing in irrigation pivot systems. He took great pride in his work and was known for going the extra mile to help area farmers keep their pivots running smoothly. Whether braving a repair in the heat of summer or troubleshooting an electrical issue in the field, Trenton was the dependable problem-solver that friends and neighbors knew they could count on.

On July 21, 2022, Trenton was united in marriage to Whitney J. Olson in North Platte. Together, they made their home in Elsie, where Trenton embraced being a husband and father. He cherished his family and the time he spent with their children - Thomas, Matthew, Destiny, Tyrel, and Lillian - who each had their own unique ways of bringing light into Trenton's life, and he theirs.

Trenton never met a stranger; he greeted everyone with an easygoing smile and a willingness to lend a hand. He enjoyed simple pleasures, from tinkering on projects in his garage to quiet evenings at home with family. Friends will remember Trenton's generous heart, strong work ethic, and the warmth and genuine kindness he showed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Whitney of Elsie; his children, Thomas, Matthew, Destiny, Tyrel and Lillian; his father, Rick (Jill) Wienke of Lincoln; his mother, Sherrie (Romans) Wienke of North Platte; his sister, Tracey (Ryan) Franzen of North Platte; his parents-in-law, Mark and Sheila Olson of Elsie; and his sister-in-law, Lina Olson of Elsie; Trenton is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kayla, and by his grandfather, Urban Wienke.

A celebration of life will be held on September 6, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Elsie Methodist Church. Inurnment will take place in the Elsie Cemetery.
