Neil A. Macy

Neil A. Macy, 70, of Hershey, Nebraska, passed away July 16, 2025, at Great Plains Health in North Platte.

Neil was born on April 3, 1955, in Nebraska to Seth Gordon and Alta Lenora (Anderson) Macy. He graduated from Grant High School with the Class of 1973.

Neil lived in Brule for a number of years before eventually moving to Hershey in the early 2000s and had worked for Payne Harvesting. As imposing as Neil was in stature, he was quite the opposite in demeanor. He was soft-spoken and kept mainly to himself, along with the close friends he had made over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Karen Rae.

No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Brule Cemetery.
