Lori A. Griffin

LORI ANN GRIFFIN, 57, of Crawford, passed away November 17, 2025, at Ponderosa Villa in Crawford, Nebraska.

Lori was born September 10, 1968, at Grant, Nebraska, to Jacque (Kuskie) Snyder. She was later adopted by Roger Brodbeck, who, together with her mother, raised her in the Grant community. Lori graduated from Perkins County High School.

After high school, Lori attended beauty school in North Platte for a time. She was a spirited and determined woman who followed her own path in life. She later made her home in Ogallala and Roscoe, where she raised her daughter, Lyndsey, and cultivated her lifelong love of horses.

Lori was a fiercely independent person, and some might even venture to say she was a bit stubborn. She was known for her sense of humor and for speaking the unvarnished truth. Lori loved the Huskers, country music, and especially Reba McEntire, whose songs often echoed Lori's own strength and heart. Her family fondly recalls that she always said, "To the moon and back."

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her adoptive father, Roger Brodbeck.

Survivors include her daughter, Lyndsey (Jessica) Fricke of Chappell; her mother, Jacque (Terry) Bohling of Deshler; uncle, Dennis (Marlene) Kuskie of Green Forest, AR; aunt, Marlene (Larry) Pritchett of Lincoln; and cousins, Troy (Kelly) Pritchett of Lincoln, Travis (Denise) Pritchett of Lincoln, Jennifer Kuskie of Casa Grande, AZ, Kristyn (Tracy) Smith of Casa Grande, AZ, and Michael Kuskie of Ogallala; her birth father, Myron Snyder; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Bullock-Long Funeral Home in Grant, with interment to follow in the Grant Fairview Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
