Marlin, lovingly known as "Twig" Terwilliger, of Grant, was born on October 6, 1948. He passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 76, following a long battle with Amyloidosis - a rare heart disease.
Twig was a very simple, private, old-fashioned kind of guy. He called a "spade a spade" and did not mince words. He could come across as being harsh to some, but in reality, he had a big, soft spot - you just might've had to dig a little to find it.
Twig loved four things in life: Farming, Football, Fishing, and Fox News. He absolutely avoided reading obituaries, attending funerals, and visiting cemeteries, however he made sure that the family of the departed received his condolences and sent his respects.
Twig's one goal before he passed away was to be able to vote for his favorite candidate in the upcoming election on November 5th. So as you leave, we'll let out a big "Go Trump!" But it wouldn't be complete without your best friend of 25 years chiming in with "may the best man or woman win!" But don't worry Twig, everything is gonna be alright.
In accordance with Twig's wishes, there will be no funeral service and his ashes will be laid to rest privately. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to either: Grant Ambulance Service or Dr. Cliff's Bowling Alley - Parking Lot Project. Online Condolences may be left at www.bullocklongfuneralhome.com.
