Cynthia K. Steinwart

Cynthia K. "Cindy" Steinwart, 68, of Elwood, Nebraska, passed away August 13, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska.

Cindy was born November 23, 1957, to Francis George and Phyllis Eileen (Smith) Ogg. She attended Wheatland High School. In time, she and Tim Steinwart were married, and the couple made their home in Lexington for many years before moving to Madrid in June of 1997.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Ray Steinwart; and her parents, Francis George Ogg and Phyllis Eileen Ogg.

She is survived by her sons, Joshua James (Melanie) Steinwart of Johnson Lake, Aaron Kyle (Sarah) Steinwart of England, and Miles Jacob (Rebecca) Steinwart of Kingston, Washington; six grandchildren, Hannah, Aubrey, Willa, Christian, Joanna, and Colton; along with many other relatives and friends.

No services are planned at this time. Interment will be at a later date in the Elsie Cemetery.
