Sharlene Rae Holscher

Sharlene Rae Holscher passed away on September 10, 2022 from complications due to ALS.

Sharlene was born December 3, 1964 in Grant Nebraska to Rex and Marilyn Holscher. She was the youngest of four daughters. Sharlene attended Perkins County High School graduating in May 1983. She then attended the University of Nebraska graduating with a degree in Accounting.

After graduation, Sharlene moved to San Francisco where she lived until 2000. She had worked for a family as a nanny and then as an accountant for Nestle Corporation followed by Bradford Staff. In 2000, Sharlene welcomed her daughter, Mia, into the world and returned to Grant. She started working for RCS and was employed by them for 21 years.

In 2015, Sharlene and Mia moved to Arlington, Texas. They then moved to Austin in 2021 so Mia could attend the University of Texas. Sharlene loved sports and was a die-hard Husker and Chiefs fan.

Sharlene learned she had ALS in 2018. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Rex and Marilyn Holscher.

She is survived by her daughter, Mia, of Austin, Texas, and three sisters, Michelle (Bruce) Carlson, Sheri Holscher, and Renee Holscher all of Lincoln and her only niece, Liz (Braidan) Miller also of Lincoln.

No memorial service is planned at this time. Cards for the family can be sent Michelle Carlson,
