Donald Waterman

DONALD WATERMAN, of Grant, passed away on October 18, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

Don was born August 10, 1962, at Grant, NE to Kenneth and Esteline (Lovenburg) Waterman. He graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1981.

Don worked for Pepsi Company in Fort Collins. The meatpacking plant while living in Fort Morgan. After he returned to Nebraska, Don worked for Perkins County, Imperial Beef, and later, North Platte Feeders until his health would no longer allow.

Don enjoyed spending time at the lake and took a particular interest in cars from a young age. He loved his children and had a special place in his heart for his four grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his children, Tosha (Jason) Schmunk of Sidney, Joshua Waterman of Grant; four grandchildren, Madison, Dominic, Chloe, and Riley; siblings, Donna Carey of Brule, Eugene (Jeanette) Waterman of Ogallala, Darlene Waterman of Grant, Jim (Amy) Waterman of Windsor, CO, Dianna (Nick) McCleary of Venango along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Don's memory for later designation. Condolences may be shared at bullocklongfuneralhome.com.
