DIANA K. MCGUIRE, (73) of Grant, passed away February 24, 2021, at the Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala.

Diana was born May 17, 1947, in Imperial, Nebraska, to Francis R. and Doris B. (Lawson) McGregor. She graduated from Grant High School with the class of 1965 and subsequently attended Chadron State College.

Diana married and had two children, a son Scott and daughter Michelle. Diana was forever supportive of her children and grandchildren. She championed their life pursuits and could be heard bragging about their successes. Diana loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting. She was a huge Husker fan (Go Big Red) and enjoyed watching football.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her 2 children: Scott McGuire of Grant, NE and Dr. Michelle McGuire (Tony Kern) of Las Vegas, NV; 3 grandchildren: Justin (Catlyn) McGuire of Las Vegas, NV; Logan Hanson of Alliance, NE; and Jadyn McGuire of Las Vegas, NV.

A celebration of Diana's life will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 from 12pm to 6pm at DJs Bar and Grill, 323 Central Ave, Grant, NE. Please dress, as Diana would, in a pair of jeans and a Husker shirt (or red shirt if you don't have a husker shirt).
